This Privacy Policy explains how Online Tuition Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), operator of www.onlinetuition.mu and its related mobile and web applications (the "Service"), collects, uses, stores, and deletes your personal data. It describes what data we process, the purposes for which we process it, and how you can request deletion of your data. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

At a glance: We process your account details, login information (including data from Facebook Login and Google Login), subscription and payment records, and usage data — solely to run your account, deliver the courses you subscribe to, process payments, provide support, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your data. You can request full deletion at any time (see Section 5).

1. What Data We Process

We process the following categories of personal data:

Subscription & payment information	Subscription plan, payment method chosen, and transaction confirmations. Card details are handled by payment providers (e.g., PayPal) and are not stored on our servers.
Usage data	Courses viewed, learning progress, device and browser information, IP address, and log data.

2. The Purposes For Which We Process Your Data

We process the data above only for the following specific purposes:

To create and authenticate your account — using your account information and, if you choose it, your Facebook Login or Google Login data to register and log you in securely.
To deliver the Service — giving you access to the courses and content you have subscribed to, and tracking your learning progress.
To process subscriptions and payments — using your subscription and payment information to confirm purchases and activate access.
To communicate with you — sending account, support, and service-related messages.
To operate, secure, and improve the Service — using usage and log data to maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve functionality.

We do not use your data for any purpose incompatible with those listed above, and we do not sell your personal data.

3. Data Obtained Through Facebook and Google Login

When you sign in using Facebook Login or Google Login, we receive basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) solely to create and authenticate your account. We do not post to your social accounts and we do not sell this data. You may revoke our access at any time through your Facebook or Google account settings, and you may request deletion of this data as described below.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as payment processors and hosting providers), and only to the extent necessary. We may disclose information where required by law.

5. Data Retention and How to Request Deletion of Your Data

You have the right to request that we delete your personal data at any time. We keep your personal data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you request deletion, we will remove your personal data — including any data obtained via Facebook Login or Google Login — from our active systems.

You can request deletion of your data in either of the following ways:

By email: Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Please include the email address or username associated with your account so we can verify your identity.
By phone / WhatsApp: Contact us on +230 5787 1793 and ask for your account data to be deleted.

What happens next: Once we verify your request, we will delete your personal data from our active systems within 30 days and confirm completion by email. Certain records may be retained for a limited period only where required by law (for example, financial or tax records), after which they are also deleted. After deletion, you will no longer be able to log in and your account cannot be recovered.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

7. Children

The Service is intended for students aged 13 and above. Users under 18 must have the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
